Indoor Multifunction Stadium is an indoor stadium located in the same area as Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, Senayan, Central Jakarta. Indoor Multifunction Stadium was built to support the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup in Indonesia. The building concept itself adopts the philosophy of 'anyaman’, an Indonesian traditional weaving technique as a representation of the gotong-royong spirit to create unity as a form of a strong nation. Indonesia is a nation of diversity, the people, nature, and culture altogether create the beautiful color of Indonesia. The special lighting design's main concept is ‘Weaving colors of Indonesia to represent the people, nature, and culture in the unity of Indonesia as well as to harmonize with the basic concept of the building itself.'

This main concept is broken down into 3 micro concepts based on the main function of the building :

A Connecting friendly place – warm and walk away
Sports matches always unite people together. Everybody makes a journey from their place to the arena, to see their favorite team playing. We want to create a friendly ambiance that will make people enjoy their time in the stadium together with people who share the same interest (sport, music, etc).
Enhancing and Entertaining Experiences – attractive and walk away
Creating an immersive experience through the integration of attractive color-changing light, entertainment, and sound. The athlete's spectators and sponsors will also get a clear view of the field with excellent color rendering and uniformity.
Optimizing and reducing cost – Effective and Efficient
Energy-efficient LED lighting and remote monitoring system will reduce the monthly cost of the stadium. A versatile lighting system will provide flexibility to host different types of event in the same space which also increase revenue streams.
